Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NVM Assemble (the "Service"), a live-class and meeting platform provided by NVM Apps ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
NVM Assemble provides online meetings and live classes, including video and audio conferencing, text chat, live transcription, meeting summaries, and an AI assistant. Features available to you depend on your role (for example, host/admin or participant) and on settings chosen by the meeting host.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least the minimum age required by applicable law) to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may sign in using a Google or Microsoft account; your use of those services is subject to their respective terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or to harass, abuse, or harm others; (b) disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or its infrastructure; (c) upload or share unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; (d) attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent security controls; or (e) record or redistribute a meeting without the necessary consent of participants where required by law.
4. Meetings, recording and content
Hosts/admins control meeting settings and may enable recording, transcription, and chat. Meetings may be recorded and transcribed by a host; by joining a meeting you acknowledge this may occur. You are responsible for the content you share, and you retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate and provide the Service (for example, to deliver messages, generate transcripts, and produce summaries).
5. AI features
The Service uses third-party AI to transcribe meeting audio and to answer questions and summarise meetings. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied upon as professional advice. Only the data necessary for these features is processed (see our Privacy Policy).
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by NVM Apps and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or content except as needed to use the Service.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (hosting, database, authentication), LiveKit (real-time audio/video), Groq (AI transcription and language processing), Google and Microsoft (sign-in), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting). Your use may be subject to those providers' terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NVM Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
